Made to suit setting up a small block Chev into early Hot Rod Chassis, for example 32 Ford, 33 to 34 Ford, 35 to 36 Ford, etc. or any similar styled chassis of that period.  The shape and placement of the chassis bolt allows greater clearance for steering components. For a typically placed engine within the chassis, this Chevy engine mount provides more room under the mount so you have more room for placement of the steering box on beam axle front ends. It also gives you more room to dive a steering shaft under the mount to the rack and pinion steering when setting up an independant front end. The bushed design of this mount is such that high horse power engines cannot tear it apart. Would suit many other small block chevy engine swaps.
