Part# FDW-VCStdSpcr-KBDome - Small Block Ford Windsor valve cover stud and dome nut Kit for use with our AussieSpeed 12mm billet valve cover spacers for roller rocker clearance. This bolt kit will not rust like a chrome bolt can. This stud and nuts bolt kit is from our standard range of polished 316 stainless steel bolts polished to our KustomBitz standard finish. Besides looking great a stud and dome nut kit, or acorn nuts as some people call them, allow you to get your tappet cover gaskets aligned and seated perfectly during assembly which can minimize the potential for oil leaks. This custom rocker cover stud kit will suit early small block Ford Windsor 289, 302, 351 V8 engines. This acorn nut and stud kit comes complete with 12 x Dome nuts, grade 8 black studs with the hex slot in the top for Allen key tool tightening, washers and spring washers to enable you to bolt pressed tin style valve covers to a ford small block windsor engine when using our billet 12 mm [1/2 inch] spacers. For example, standard ford or Morroso pressed tin & pressed alloy style tappet covers. The length of our studs allows enough height for the stud to bottom out in the head hole and two cork or rubber felpro style or similar gaskets to be used with the spacer.
