Part#AS0111B - AussieSpeed. Hot Rod old skool style scoop is cast alloy with cast in lugs to attach to bonnet or air cleaner,the scoop pictured is painted in satin black etch primer paint. We figure you will want to paint it the same colour black as your bonnet or the same or contrasting colour to your car. so we supply it in etch primer so you do not need to worry about trying to get our coating off. Good dress up for those old skool styled hot rods. These scoops look good on boats too, on top of the engine box or the engine cover. We have put plenty of fixings on the underneath side so you have plenty of attachments to fit your own customised base plate. Your can make a flat plate, a raised plate or a stepped plate to lower the scoop over the carbi. Note: that a stepped plate will probably require the choke casting be milled off the top of your your typical holley style carbi. Outside dimensions l=345mm, h=85mm, w=255mm. Inside dimensions that matter, internal h=55mm, internal width at this height is w=150mm, then it tappers out on a slow radius to the bottom.  The fixings in the base are tapped M6 thread.
